Hey where can i buy OIL and OIL FILTERS for my car in the either MA or NH...all the shops carry crappy filters, and they only have MOBILE 1 for OIL, i was looking at either using MOTUL 0-40 or Pentosynth 5-40 any recomendations?

Manchester specifically, Robbins auto has Penotsin synth 5W-40, guy behind the counter called it "VW" oil. I use Mobil 1 5w-40 "Truck and SUV" label. Currently being replaced by "Diesel Truck and SUV" labeled 5w-40. Probably just a marketing change, not oil formulation. Haven't seen any of the new labeled stuff on the shelves yet.
For filters, I ordered a 10 pack of Mann filters from www.germanautoparts.com, they are only 1 day away with shipping (in Upstate NY).

...on my B5 1.8T. The Wix filter is sold at Napa PN 1333 - sometimes referred to as the Big Kahuna. The giant filter allows slightly more oil capacity to help reduce coking/sludging.
