Default Paging BD and others who have used Greg's in Natick: How does he take to providing your own parts?

Thinking of going in on the PureMS timing belt group buy.... but didn't know how he'd take to that.

I also have an APR snub mount that I'd like him to install while doing the TB... I can't imagine he'll have a problem agreeing to that at least.

If you can wait for the TB-a-thon, that would be a good chance to put the kit to use

Is there a date set for that yet? If it works out, I'd love to.

Default Regardless of the shop, I'd argue against it.

If there is an issue down the road for any reason (even trechnician error), your parts will probably be blamed. And even if you can get the failed part warranteed, you will still eat the labor...and any additional parts and labor for anything else damaged in the failure. If you let the shop get the parts, they will cover the repair if there are issues down the line.

Sure there is a money savings, but it comes with an increased risk.

Default as far as the TB-a-thon I do not believe it is ever limited to one specific

engine. When I participated last year it was two 1.8T engines and one 2.7T engine.

Why wouldn't it? It's basically the same as a 2.7t and even a 4.2...
