Default Was paid a visit by Don Cotton (Village Glassmith) just now!

I was planning on replacing the windshield after Winter because it's quite sandblasted (1.5 years on this windshield) but a rock hit it recently and caused a crack.

Based on the outstanding recommendations from AWNE, I called Don up and made an appointment. The claims process was quite easy. We had a conference call, which Don set up, with my ins co (Liberty Mutual). All I had to do was answer a couple of questions.

I watched Don throughout the replacement process. He pointed out the flaws from the last install, done by JN Phillips. There were some spots along the windshield that had little to no adhesive bonded to it. Maybe that's why I've been hearing more than usual wind noise!

Don is quite knowledgeable and likes to explain the process as he goes along so you know how it's suppose to be done compared to the other guys.

Overall the process took 1 hour 20 minutes but went by quickly as Don was replacing the glass and explained everything. Can't wait to get in and have it look like there's no windshield there =P I highly recommend him for your glass replacement!

Default nice! you just answered a question I had...

who local is best to replace windshield, mine is so pitted that new wipers still can't keep it clear in the rain...
