I TAKE IN MY B7 2006 A4 FOR 45K SERVICE. The guys at Ira call me and tell me I need new front brake pads and rotors. The charge would be $700. Recommendations? I live in Lawrence, Ma and I don know of a good Indy shop to bring my car to. Should I do it at the dealership or anyone recommend me a good shop in southern NH or Merrimac Valley. I think I can probably get both front and rear for may be extra 100 bucks somewhere else.

We usually do Zimmerman rotors and Mintex red box pads on all of our customers cars. We usually get a good deal on them and pass it along so everyone is happy in the end. Go with a quality rotor, they tend to last much longer then the cheapies.

of a shop and i thought they were had less friction both cold/hot that the OEM pads. they did had less dust though which was nice. Since that point i have never recommended that pad to anyone. they are cheap though. So if someone wants cheap Mintex redbox's are the way to go.
