Recommendations for good quiet bar/lounge in Boston (preferably with piano or Jazz music)
The ex and I are probably getting back together tonight. Haven't seen each other in a few weeks and need somewhere nice to sit down and talk. A nice piano or light jazz in background would help alleviate any awkward silences. Heard good things about the bar at the Taj being a good environment and having piano, but nothing on their web site indicates any music. Can anyone confirm on a Thursday night? I work in town, but don't get out enough to know where the right places are. Also want to go somewhere she and I have not been so it is neutral (long story).
Any other recommendations would be much appreciated. Looking around 6-8pm tonight.
