The North Atlantic Audi Club is pleased to offer a hands-on car control clinic on Saturday, August 26, 2006, at NHIS in Loudon, NH. Our car control clinic is a limited enrollment, family friendly driving event designed to provide participants with increased confidence through behind-the-wheel driving exercises incorporating real-world accident avoidance and defensive-driving techniques. This is not _just_ for teen drivers; anyone who would like to gain a better understanding of car control techniques and how to become a better, safer driver is welcome to attend.
For only $99 per person, participants will enjoy over 6 hours of classroom and behind-the-wheel driving instruction focused on understanding vehicle dynamics, anti-lock braking and traction control systems through a series of exercises performed in a safe and controlled environment. Designed for newly-licensed and experienced drivers alike, participants will drive their own vehicle under the supervision of an experienced instructor and will learn how to react to impending danger with confidence, precision and control. Teen drivers holding a "Learner's Permit" are encouraged to attend. We would hope that you would pass this along to friends who might be interested in learning what we as a club can do to help young drivers and those that might be a bit timid as well.
This is also a great event for spouses, significant others, etc. who may not be car fanatics like many of the people on this board, but would benefit from a better understanding of car control and accident avoidance.
Remember, driving is the *most dangerous* thing most people do from day to day. Improving one's skills at something so common and yet so dangerous is only common sense.

http://www.prestoregister.com/cgi-bin/order.pl?ref=naaclub1&fm=3</a
