I gotta give a shameless plug for this guy. He's the mechanic that worked on my Lotus track car ( too bad I met him after going through tens of thousands with 3 other incompetent mechanics).

He diagnosed and fixed a problem with my 08' S6 (loose steering rack bolts) that three Audi dealerships could not figure out, so much for having a warranty, I just take it to him and pay him to fix it.

He also did my brakes when I needed them done in a pinch, and is custom fabricating a cold air intake for my S6.

He does Lotus, Saab, and Audi. He has been on Lotus grand am and GT1 race teams as the tech., he just got back from Atlanta where he was working on the GT1 lotus Exige race car.

Ask him to show you his 700 Hp lotus Esprit TT race car (2200 lbs!)

He is honest, very bright, an enthusiast, and has very fair prices. I really hope Mass. area AWers can support him.

The place is kind of dumpy, and he has no receptionist or support staff, but he gets the job done and is always there when you need him and very good at what he does.

I've driven by there and have seen the Lotus' out front, but I never thought to check if he did Audis as well.
