Default I have gotten one warning for 22% in Boston.
But I have been pulled over serveral other times and the cops haven't mentioned it, I just always make sure to roll down all my windows before the officer approaches the car. They don't like dark tint mainly because they can't tell who is in the car and what they are in store for.

Default a 35% tint over the factory tinted windows will be illegal
you're taking a chance yes, but not a huge one.

Default That's incorrect
It varies by car. I got 35% on top of my OE windows and the light meter reads 32%, which is exactly the legal limit.

Default I haven't measured mine yet, I am going to just use my laser meter
but I need a laser. My installer told me it was illegal and around 28%. I won't know what it really is until I measure it.
