Speed Trap on Soldiers Field Road...
Got pulled over by a State Trooper heading West on Soldiers Field Road on Sunday. He was right across from the Acura dealership, i.e. right after you come out of a downhill that goes through an overpass that blocks your site, so you've just gained 5mph and can't see him around the turn, and the speed limit is 35mph. He let me off with a warning and let me know to take it easy b/c the Staties will be on Soldiers/Storrow all summer.

That is a hot spot in the summer. Especially on Sundays when the other side
of the river is closed off. I always stay to the right coming around, up, and out of there until I can I see the entire road ahead. I'd say you made out by driving away with only a warning with a heads up. I've seen three or four cars lined up there before.

Yeah, I told him that the gold Nissan Pathfinder that was right next to me at the time was
pulling into my lane and that I just sped up to not get hit, that I wasn't in a rush to get anywhere, and kept saying "sorry" a lot. He bought the story I guess.
