Default Trade in, up, sideways????

Looking for input on this situation: current ride is '01 stage 1 S4. Needs front wheel bearings, front brakes, turbo lady calling (minor: mirror dazzle inoperative on Drivers side mirror, driver's door latch "spring" gone, drivers door speaker gone). 95k miles. Car has re-built gear box last year (warranty) and is in near excellent condition otherwise. Not mechanical enough to do bearings/turbos (I don't think). Looking at '04/'05 S4, 05/06 WRX STI, EVO, 2.0 A4 (stage 1?)? Owe about $11k still. What are your thoughts?

Default Stick with the B5 S4

Bring it to Lee @ Advanced Tech for repairs.

I'll bet you two kidneys that it'll be much cheaper to repair the B5 than it will be to sell it and buy any of the cars you listed. You're nearly upside down on your loan, so that's not a good thing.

My concern is future/larger repairs to come? (I love the current ride)

Default There's nothing more expensive to fix than the turbos

You could buy a second B5 S4 to use as a parts car for about the same incremental cost as the vehicles you had listed.

Default I drive a sti often

switch with a friend. Fun for a few days, handles like its on rails, but shortly there after I'm always wanting my s4 back. Not much that compared to the equilibrium you hit between comfort and performance of the b5 S. sack it up, install KO4s, get the JDM ideas outta your head because you'll regret it, and thank me later, I like Blue Moon.

Default Advanced Tech: Location?

I guess I'm not the only one who's S4 needs a bit of work to be 100% functional again. Now that the snow is on its way, the Mini just isn't going to cut it.

Where is Advanced Tech located?
