fricking green Ford Taurus.
Saw it with some victim pulled over the other day on 495 roughly between 3 and 2.
I mean.. the all black Dodge Chargers are tough to spot, but can be picked out... but a freakin green Tauras?
and my neighbor who has a few Statey friends says that they have Honda Pilots on order... oh, just f-ing great.
Guess that radar detector better step it's game a notch.

It is known that they have used the current Taurus, or the recent identical looking Ford Five Hundred.
I have seen a late 1990s Black Ford Taurus SHO unmarked with antennas parked at the Farmingham SP Barracks,.....

Ford Expeditions/Explorers
Ford 500 Sedans, no tint or any visible lights on the rear deck, plain Jane
Dodge Chargers

apparently they also have radar detector jammers now too
I was recently pulled over by a MA state trooper for my tinted windows. Luckily for me I was not speeding (at the time) but, I asked the cop what the new gear was on the top of his car. This new gear is very close to the ends of the light bar and there are only a few cars equipped with it throughout the state.
The answer that I received surprised me and made me slightly nervous. He said that it was a system that jams Radar Detectors (like the V1) that I use. He told me that he had gunned me at 67mph (2 mph over limit) and my V1 never even made a sound.
He seemed cool so I asked if this was like a Laser gun. He went on to say that the gun is still on the Ka band but, it was the equipment on top of the car that completely blocks the signals to the radar detectors.
I wasn't sure if his story was legit or if he was just trying to scare me so I asked my neighbor (RI Statey) and he confirmed that they had started to test something like this.
Now this may be no big deal to most of you but, to someone like me that travels 1200miles in any given week up and down the RI/MA highways it is. I try to monitor my speed but, I usually end up around the 75-80mph mark. If my V1 isn't going to work at all against these guys and they aren't using laser, so it doesn't warrant a jammer. WTF!!!!
I'm going to try and get a pic soon to show what I'm talking about.
Ok end rant..
