nowadays, when you know a trap is coming up, very few people flash you before you hit it...

u def dont want to flash an unmarked car, they do have some BS clause they can use on yam or at least they will find something wrong with your car/plate/tint/ etc

I thought I read something about it being "illegal" to warn other drivers of speed traps up head by flashing your lights. Not sure how true this is though.

Here's a story...a few years ago, I did the same, flashed drivers to warn them of a speed trap I just passed. The third or 4th car that passed was a cruiser. As I watched him in my rear view, he pulled a u-turn down the road. I thought to myself, oh crap. I immediately took the next right into a recreation facility parking lot and parked the car. Luckily he didn't see me as there were some cars behind me blocking his view, phew. Not sure if he was pulling a u-turn to try and find me or if it was because of the town line was coming up (which it was).

Another odd sighting, in NH. Blacked out Maxima, low 4 digit plate, with several (5) plastic dots on the trunk lid. Not on the top of it, but on the portion above the plate

it has sirens and strobes... not sure if it was taken from a drug dealer, but yes it is a seized vehicle.

I spoke with Valentine One today, they know nothing about a radar detector jammer, and they also have no plans yet for a new version 1.9 detector. So 1.8 is the latest and greatest apparently
