I guess the key phase in your statement is "can afford an Audi" because many people own them...
but in reality can they really truly afford one (if they purchase it new).
One of the problems with our society right now is most people are in a want over need buying habit now and extending themselves waaaaaaaay to far beyond their means. Si in their case the cash from the stimulus check is welcome cash.

My next Audi, if it is want I want it to be, will need to be used in order for me to justify it.
The college fund keeps knocking on my door asking for payments. =)))

depends on your ss number and if you got your return paid by check or electronic deposit.

The normal rebate only works for people making 3k to 75k of earned income
I'm not sure what the cut off actually is. There's all types of rules with having dependents (kids) and whether you file jointly.
All I know is you wont get one if you make more than about 90k and you're single.
