Default Re: That is a horrible analogy. A better analogy would be: If two restaurants serve the same exact

true...but with that being said.....i wouldn't travel 30 miles just to save $10.--

Default SuperAvant was quoted $44 @ Wagner, and he's been told it's a ~ $7 part elsewhere. So a

difference of ~$37, not $10. $37 is worth taking a little ride.

Default nah...it isn't that...

it's been hashed over before...if you post with a work email address, you should make it clear that you work there, so nobody thinks you have a hidden agenda. if your initial post had been different and you asked for more details to find out why there was a $37 difference for a small part, then you would have been received differently. what grinds the gears here is that it is a $7 part somewhere and $44 at your shop. the $37 could pay for overnight shipping from the place selling the part for $7.

for your own good, register here with a personal email address. never know if someone can tie something back to you or wagner.

i just don't feel that it is totally fair to get online and bash certain dealerships without knowing certain factors : what is the part # , did 1 of you have a bad experience and now all of you are on the band wagon , is one dealer triing to cut other dealers throats ????? we could go back & forth all day.

Default you should've asked for those other factors before making your analogy

FWIW, I haven't seen any recent posts regarding good, local brick and mortar part pricing. If there was such a place, folks would've shared the knowledge. Clair was a place to get good pricing before, but I think that has changed too.
