Default wow not a good way to start off the day. White smoke coming from the air intake

side of the upper grille (upper left). So I go to open the hood to see where the smoke is coming from and the release wont work. I tried pulling on it but, I did not want to pull to hard, still nothing happened. I thought maybe it was frozen or something, but I parked in the garage last night and I had just drove 40min to work. I also tried pulling on the grille release but nothing happened (I assume the two are connected so it makes sense that nothing happened). I was stfa about this and I hope I dont have to swazel the hood off like Mr. Hansen said he did. So, I have to try to take the grill off from the out side? Also the white smoke kinda smelled like coolant. I had the tb/waterpump replace about 10K miles ago. And I just recently had to add coolant. Could the white smoke be from the turbo?.....not a good way to start the day TIA for any advice.

Default I would not drive it if you can't verify what's up with your cooling system. Get it towed to a

reputable VW/Audi indy shop. Stating the obvious - but if you recently had the t-belt/water pump replaced, you recently had to add coolant, and now you're having smoke that smells like coolant - it seems there is certainly something going on which deserves immediate attention.

Default I promise you he doesn't "legit know" Audi products like the guys at Advanced Technologies, Autobahn

Performance, Greg's Repair Service, Shine Racing Service, etc. It's usually worthwhile to seek out a VW/Audi specialist.
