Default WTB - 2001 A4 1.8Tqm - Been searching craigslist, cars, autotrader, etc. for the past few weeks....

Let me know if you see anything. Im in central CT, but have no problem driving. Would prefer a bone stock car. Needs to be a 2001, I totaled my car and bought it back. Just need a new car to swap my parts over to. TIA

Default how much are you looking to spend? I think i might be selling mine...

I've owned it since 4K miles, and have babied the car since day one. Car has 156K miles, but drives PERFECT. I still boost at 20psi, no CELs at all. The 2nd timing belt was done at 120K.

It has A LOT of extra goodies including S4 alcantara interior, Porsche Boxster brakes w/ A8 rotors, H&R CO's, Borla, X-chip, AWE DTS, APR Snub, Neuspeed SS, UUC Rob ****, Thule roof rack w/ wide attachment (fits 4 snowboards), AWE boost gauge w/ custom pillar gauge housing from SPP and the list just goes on.

I'm willing to unload for $9k as is (1 crease in my hood from someone backing into it last wk + 2 dings on my trunk from Saturday)....and I'll include the BBS CHs + my S4 wheels w/ Blizzaks. I'll let it go for cheaper, but I'll start pulling parts depending on price.

The body aside from the 2 i mentioned above...is FLAWLESS. Not a door ding or scuff on my bumpers to mention.

Honestly, anyone can vouch for how clean the car is, and think would be a perfect car for you. If you're interested, email me at aesmilla@gmail.com

This car is the most well documented car you will find. I promise you, you will love the car if you saw it in person.

This is a pic from the day I bought back in 2002.

Default yea tell me about it....all my yrs of ownership, not one ding or accident

then in a one week span these two incidents occur. I think the time has come for me to move onto an E46 M3 that I've been drooling over for quite some time.

Default Hoping to spend under $7000. I bought my wrecked car back, which ate a good chunk of my check....

Thats also why I want a stock car, I got alot of the things I would want for my new car on my wrecked car already. (chip, exhaust, coils, etc)

Default gotcha, jsut keep in mind that these cars start to break bet 100-120K...

and I've replaced all the parts that normally wear w/ the 01.5s.

Particularly the coolant flange & coolant temp sensor, rear main seal (RMS), 2 wheel bearings, the clutch was replaced at 120K including timing belt, all vac lines, wp, valve gasket, andddd I have no missing pixels on my dash thanks to my CPO warranty. It was replaced at 99K.

Anyways good luck on the search.
