As far as I have experienced Massachusetts and Connecticut hate eachother enough not to share that kind of information. I had a friend move from Mass to Connecticut and had Mass plates for 2 years while living in CT. He got a total of 7 tickets in MA that never transfered over to CT. Usually State Police etc will target out of State drivers because they know they are most likely to just pay it since it wont lead to points rather than fight it so as to avoid the points if they are a resident.

I spent a half day in court waiting to fight a Mass ticket and believe me they hear none of it. I was completely in the right with evidence etc and the magistrate upheld the ticket so I wouldnt plan on winning the fight. You will lose a days pay and a few years off your life in frustration :-)

Default Keep in mind that traffic court is not a real court

Different rules apply. You can always appeal the magistrate's ruling, in which case you do end up in a real court.

Default The Magistrate is paid to say "No. Found Responsible."

That's all. You could have a video of you driving 60 in a 65, with traffic passing you, and then the cop pulling you over for going 90... and they would still no believe you. Their job is to make the town/state money.

Always appeal when they find you responsible. I do, and then I usually win in real court.

Default NH is desperate for money apparently

It was just over $100, iirc.
