Default awd gets by better than RWD

rwd power + front end handling with snows is teh suxor in these temps

Default Beg to differ. Most snows are lousy in warm weather on a dry road.

The sidewalls are softer, the tires are squishier, and the open cell compounds and large treads mean less contact with the road.

Just because they wear faster does not mean they grip better.

Default Just finished. Temps were AWESOME for doing this.

Even took the extra step of REALLY cleaning my winter wheels (P21S Gel followed by claybar and FMJ).

Me too. On the Coupe. Left it in the garage though. Time to put a few miles on the 'burban.

Default Just made the switch to my 16's =( with All Seasons today. My car looks so blah now.

But hey on the bright side, only 4 to 4 1/2 months until I get to put the 18's back on.

Default Did the same to my 18's except after claying I put on a coat of Rejex.

Put on some Rejex too on the 16's that went on the car today.

Default that's precisely why i refuse to do that :-)

my cars are too important to my psychological state to subject myself to 4.5 months of "blah". if i'm going to have to put up with winter, i'm at least going to do it on my terms and that means with wheels that don't suck.
