Beg to differ. Most snows are lousy in warm weather on a dry road.
The sidewalls are softer, the tires are squishier, and the open cell compounds and large treads mean less contact with the road.

Just made the switch to my 16's =( with All Seasons today. My car looks so blah now.
But hey on the bright side, only 4 to 4 1/2 months until I get to put the 18's back on.

that's precisely why i refuse to do that :-)
my cars are too important to my psychological state to subject myself to 4.5 months of "blah". if i'm going to have to put up with winter, i'm at least going to do it on my terms and that means with wheels that don't suck.
