Default True MOST are worse, but not all.

I wouldn't use them on the track, then again, most track events are over now. So giving the PS2's a rest is a good idea in my book.

Default I hear you. I am crazy to but don't have the cash at hand to step up to the plate.

I know, you got to pay to play. Some day.

Default ah, the cost of being a responsible adult

i'm kidding, of course ;-)

seriously though, i admire the way you've gone about modding your car -- i think you've done a great job balancing your passion with the other things in your life which are clearly important to you. if having your car looking badass in the winter remains a priority, i'm sure you'll soon seize the opportunity that makes it happen :-)

Default even stock Avus look good in winter

Pretty cheap too, in either 16"/17" replicas or oem. No big deal if a pothole eats one, a replacement set would be cheaper than a single rim that meem is running hehe

Default I know you swear by that stuff. We'll have to see which does better...

...in the coming months. I'm VERY curious to discover the BEST solution for keeping wheels clean. I didn't have any Rejex so I went with what I had (FMJ). Given that we both put the winter wheels on the same day, let's compare notes to see which goop does better.

Default Not a problem, I baby the snow tires no matter what the conditions are.

I did notice shifting the tranny was noticeably smoother today than the past few weeks.

Default Thanks for the kind words.

You are so correct that it is all about priorities. Hopefully next year I can pull off the 2 to 3 mods I have on my list and have some cash left in the mod budget to put snow tires on my 17's. Heck maybe I'll sell the 17's with the Summer rubber and use that for some 18" winter wheels. ;-)
