Default audi wpnt start on a hill

2 days ago and yesterday i attempted to crank my car on a hill and it would not crank, i have never had this issue before. the obd does not show any fuel pump or fuel injector codes. only codes i have is for a speed sensor and p0430 which is catalytic converter below efficiency bank 2. which may have to due with the speed sensor ultimately as well. however this phenomena is weird and seems to only happened while parked on a hill with the front down-slope. im thinking it would either be the fuel pump, fuel filter, a random sensor, or vaccum line possibly the one going to the egr. This car has 2 fuel pumps, how would i know which one to replace. I am going to start with the fuel filter...1 its cheapest, 2 i dont think its ever been replaced now @180k, 3 i honestly think it could be just the filter, 4 the code p0430 could be due to the fuel filter as well?? maybe hopefully. im not replacing my cat! I have seen the condition of old filters and heard similarish stories. Fuel pump to me seems most logical, but which one and with it costing 300 a piece i need to be sure. Anybody have any takes. no i cant exactly hear the pump running its like sometimes i do sometime i dont. with it being an a8 im sure its a fancy system that makes it that way.
