Default 30K service coming up. Carlsen or Rector?

I live in between the two and convenience is king, so no stevens creek or royal.

Is there a service advisor you'd recommend?

Is the service covered by the dealer? If not, don't go to a dealer...

Default Where did you get the Jan issue? I can't find any stores that have it yet

Wasn't my ride yet for the photo shoot, so it doesn't really count ;-)

Default Home delivery. Last line of article, "Shortly after we saw the car, it found a new home in Cali."

If you get impatient waiting for it to arrive in stores, you can always come by and take mine....I'm done with it.

Default Good recent experience at Rector

I took my 2003 A4 Avant 1.8T in for its 20k service on Friday. They provided shuttle service to my office in Daly City. Robert MacLellan wrote up the service order and called me mid day with an update. He also called at the end of the day to say the car was ready and asked if I needed a ride back to the dealer to pick up the car. Everything was fixed under the warranty for no cost including chipped paint on the cup holder.

Default Carlsen... Talk to Louis, he's the man. I've been to Rector, b/c I bought my car there...

Carlsen gave me better service. Louis is really nice. I can't speak for the other SAs there, because I haven't dealt with them directly. They will give you a shuttle too.
