A4 Driving Experience at Infineon - well worth it...
I just got back from the A4 driving experience at Infineon and it was really well done. Considering that it is free and you get to drive a brand new car around Infineon (lead follow - no instructor in the car with you) and you get to drive a fairly long autocross course in the parking lot for at least four times (I managed to go a fifth time and could have done a sixth time if I had wanted to). They also give you free coffee, juice, yogurt, water, Audi head sock, and an Audi Driving Experience hat. If you have not done it yet, you should definitely sign up.
Oh did I mention that the A4 is a blast to drive! I also rode with one of the instructors in a TTS around the track and he said that the new A4 handled the track better than the TTS. Pretty amazing. The A4 did feel very smooth around the circuit and it was dramatically different (better) than the Mercedes C300 4matic, Lexus IS250AWD and the BMW 328xi on the autocross. It was a great way to spend a Friday morning and I made it back home for some afternoon conf calls. Not a bad start to the weekend...

Agree...It was a lot of fun and Audi really provided a service to let people drive the competitors
cars in a side by side comparison. It is hard to believe that anyone who values performance and handling would buy a Mercedes or Lexus.

"A lot"? I don't know about that. It was cool that they did it.
I was unimpressed with the whole experience...but the new A4 I was VERY impressed with. Audi did great with that one. The coolest thing about it was the cutout of the 3.0TDI. I wanted to wamp on it like the R8's.
Sure miss that track. Was weird being back out there.
How are ya?

well..I thought so..got to hang out with friends, check out cars>>
a few quick laps on Infineon- a nice way to spend Friday morning:-) The B8 is nice especially in design and comfort compared to the other three-not a fan of the triptronic but really liked the dynamic steering and suspension. I bet you miss the track... get that GTI out there! Things are good.. way to busy this summer can't believe its the end of July already. Still working over in Oakland?
