About to get tinted from Juan at tints R us - yay or nay?
he is charging me $220 cash for 7 windows for Sungard premium - this a group rate for 2 cars and he is meeting me at my work to do the job.
Anything I should be aware of before I pull the trigger on this?

Not sure about the work and service, but interested to know more!
I'm in SF and his name was mentioned before, since I'm also interested to get mine tinted (03 Allroad).
Is he mobile or has a shop?
What if we can cut a deal and get better pricing? Will you be interested? How's the pricing for what he's offering?

Back then he only carried 3M and a lesser brand. I got 35% semimetallic smoke on all 4 doors...
25% semimetallic smoke on the rear quarter panel and the rear window.
He was even asking about tinting the front windshield 50% for that "California Look" I guess that was how things where back then.
He given me 3M's lifetime guarantee. It hasn't faded compared with my other cars that have cheap tinted tints - they turned purple.
I have a few pics but non of them really focus on my tint
Maybe this one shows a comparo between a car without vs with mine. It was taken sometime early last year. It's not very dark in person. These pics are just shrunk to fit

Been considering getting it done this paycheck. I'd do it in a heartbeat if it was $200 cash flat.
