Default Hahaha! You should try Ross! They have branded suits for less, (m)

... but only if you don't mind searching and working your way around a few Ross locations to find what u r looking for, and checking the suit for any defects that are visible. I have not seen any bad merchandise to date.

I found a nice Italian made suit, had to get the pants shortened/altered but thats it. So as long as the jacket fits, cuz you wouldnt want to alter the jacket in any way.

I tend to go for suit brands that have a number and a length. i.e sizes 48S means that it is a Short, cuz I am a short guy 5' 6". There is a 48R which means Regular.

Hah! my first fashion post on AW! How funny!

Default Men's warehouse is the best place... Really...

They have suits from very cheap to fairly expensive. Plus they have a great selection.

Some of their mid line suits, are very good quality.

Default Try Nordstrom's Rack... I got a Joseph Aboud for real cheap.

I shopped at the Campbell "rack" store, which just marked down their recent arrivals.

Nordstrom Rack at Westgate Mall (#432)
1600 Saratoga Avenue, Suite 305
San Jose, CA 95129
(408) 374-4144
M-Fri 10:00 - 9:00 Sat 10:00 - 8:00 Sun 11:00 - 7:00

First, educate your eye a bit to the material, cut, and seams of finer suits; then look for a bargain. Otherwise, you will end up with something that other people will spot as cheap even if you can't tell.

If it is for job interviewing, its a good idea to overspend a bit. The confidence factor and impression it makes help tremendously with the interview process and perhaps a bit when they discuss how much to offer you.

Nordstrom (main stores) have a house brand that is very good quality for the money. Almost as nice as my favorite name brands that they sell for double.
