Any of you listen to Star 101.3?
I just started to listen to it because I don't like the free form Jack, but I like getting music that isn't MTV-d out.
but the more I listen to it, the more I think I'm starting to figure out the format. There is a Journey or Bon Jovi song on almost every hour. There are certain rocker songs on heavy rotation, such as Sweet Child of Mine (guns & roses, not sheryl crow). And they are pretty light on personality for their "radio personalities".
My all time favorite radio station is Music of Your Life, but that's not on the air anymore in the bay area ( that I know of) and it's not on Sirius/XM either. I'm relegated to streaming radio only for that one.

Yeah, I get tired of the same 3 or 4 current songs in rotation with some non-competitive "oldies"
thrown in for variety.
In cooler weather it's windows down. In warm weather it's podcasts.CBC radio usually has the variety of world talk and music I am looking for.
