Default A big middle finger the to guy with the unsecured trunk of bricks on 87 @ 101 overpass!

A big paver brick got me in the front right tire. Had to swerve inches from the concrete barrier.

Hit the brick, had concrete bust everywhere. Lost my brand new Eagle F1 and likely the wheel.

Lovely chips as well... bastards...

Default Man, I hate that. It seems like a no brainer to secure loads. Same goes to pickup trucks

where drivers just throw crap in the back without bothering to tie it down at all.

Default My wife avoided a stepladder with the A4, my bro in law ran over a computer monitor...

and my bro ran over a truck transmission piece with his A4. His airbags popped without any front end damage, but his tranny and tranny tunnel were damaged (which popped the airbag because sensor is mounted on tunnel under radio)

Let's not forget Benj007's accident from a truck load of scaffolding that came off in front of him.

Default A truck load of wheels can also ruin your day

I once had a client trade in a Camry that was pristine except for the big divot on the front bumper. Totally at odds with the people and the rest of the car. I asked them about it, and they said they had been driving up the Grapevine (mtn pass on the outskirts of LA) when a truck loaded with alliy wheels, lost the load. Apparently the road was filled with metal wheels bouncing across the freeway and downhill into oncoming traffic. The Camry folks saw some of them and dodged them, but this one just came right at them, smacked into the bumper, and then bounced over the car. Pretty scary.

The other day I saw a truck maybe 1/4 of a mile ahead, transporting a stone slab. There seemed to be a cloud of something coming from the truck. I moved over to the furthest lane as I cruised up. There was what appeared to be a large sack of grout or sand right behind the cab, and the vacuum created, had pulled open the bag, and was distributing a fine spray of abrasive material out the back. If they were going far, they sure weren't going to have any materials left I couldn't help but think of the infamous sand in the intake engine break-in thread - among others;-)

https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/1567770.phtml</a
