Can anyone recommend a good independent, non-audi shop/mechanic in the lower peninsula region?

Looking for a good shop for the Jeep; a place where I can get basic service but also jeep expertise if needed. Work on the jeep's not rocket science, so I just need honest and quality work.
Yelp's been all over the place with recommendations (or lack thereof). Any help would be appreciated.
TIA!

call me stupid, but how difficult is it to work on a jeep?

fortunately, the 4.0 and pretty much the rest of the system was in its last 2 years when the rubi was built, so things should be pretty solid. I'd rather start a relationship now for stuff down the line ;0

Barron Park Shell (at the shell gas station); great reviews from jeff, even better reviews from yelp, and very local to me!
Going there tomorrow. Cheers.
