If you've been curious, but haven't yet - DSF-USA has just received approval for our demo lot in Mountain View yesterday. There will be 4 1-hour Skid-Monster courses through out the day.

The Skid-Monster course is able to simulate high speed loss of control in the safety of a slow speed controlled environment. Students have time to think, react, and perform. They will learn new skills such as:

- Targeting and Zone Control
- Controlling the Secondary Skid (many times it's not the first swerve that causes a driver to lose control but the following skid)
- Entering and exiting curves, turns, and roundabouts with changing radii
- Initiating and recovering from evasive maneuvers
- Transferring learned driver skills from parking lot to real roads! This course is proven to reduce risk of teen crashes by over 50%!

This event will be held at the Mountain View Fire Station Lot just before Shoreline Park's entrance in Mountain View, California. It is an arrive and drive event, meaning all you need to do is show up 15 minutes prior to your registration with either your ID, or if a minor - a legal guardian. Cost for this course is $99 for 1 hour.

With the ski-season in progress we have experienced many parents sending their teenagers through the course prior to their weekend Tahoe trips. We also provide group discounts and discounted rates for corporate team building events, non-profits, city/government, and group-buys. please ping Sia (sia.bani@dsf-usa.com) or Jeff (jeff.doyle@dsf-usa.com) for more information.

Oh...did you check our review on <a href="http://reviews.carreview.com/blog/driving-safety-foundation-class-a-fun-way-to-improve-safe-driving-skills/">CarReview.com?</a>

Default FOLKS - If you plan to drive icy roads of Tahoe - even if you're well experienced - DO THIS !!!

My 90min training already paid for itself. I drove off with kids/me/car completely unscathed after rear end lost traction on icy 89, thanks to the tricks I picked up from this course.

Yes, I've done skid-pad before - this is waaaay better.
