Default First 5k service at Royal Motors

I recently posted asking where I should take my car for its 5k service. After dealing with Royal Motors in the past, I tried to see if there was a better option.

Alas, I figured I'd give them another shot, this time with a different make of vehicle. I called for an appointment in the afternoon on Monday, and was told I could come in on Thursday for the service. When I got there on Thursday, I pulled right in and talked to Chris Sung, one of their Service Consultants. He took great care of me and my car, keeping me well informed of its progress throughout the day. He also took the time to followup with me on the following day. Best of all, Royal Motors will reimburse you up to $25 for cabfare, spent travelling to/from Royal Motors. That really beats a loaner IMHO.

In closing, after a bad experience with Royal in the past, I'm glad to say that they really took great care of me and my car. I can't help but recommend them to Audi owners in SF who are still under warranty.

Default My blinkers stopped over the weekend

Yesterday morning I pull into Royal's service area, my advisor, John is standing by the car within 10 seconds. I tape the "Do not wash this car" sign to my windshield, get out and say "John, my blinkers quit and I don't have an appointment" He said, "Not a problem, you going to be at the studio today?" "Yep" I walk out of the door probably within a minute and half of arriving, for he already has all my contact numbers. I never take him up on the cab offer as I prefer to walk the couple miles back to my business. I stop at Pete's in Potrero Center for some coffee and almost by the time I get back, he calls and tells me the car is ready..I pick it up and check carefully around hazard switch as that is what was replaced to see if there was any damage to the surrounding plate. Perfect. He's getting all fives when AoA calls

Default No, but you're right, it wasn't like it was a big repair job

that needed their top tech. It was a small simple replacement of a switch that if out of warranty I would have done myself.
