Default Both the San Mateo Sheriff and the CHP (CHP showed up because we thought it was attempted car theft)

asked if the car was locked, which it was. I got the impression there was a legal distinction between a locked and unlocked car (not a lawyer tho).

Default It actually has me on a love-the-Miata kick now...I'm going through online catalogs to figure out

what kind of rolling-restoration I could do to it. It's in good shape ('91, 125k miles) and is still fun as hell to drive, I just don't use it much.

But so far my rottie has kept people away from my driveway =)
