Default So you went to Lynbrook HS?

Incidentally, Palo Alto HS's mascot is also the Vikings. Yep, I went to Paly.

Default dont live there...2 BS tickets in the last month...plus numerous other tickets my friends received..

c'mon...a turn signal ticket for $190???? Cupertino is suberbia, so unless you're a middle aged man with a lot of money, youre going to get pulled over for the stupidest reasons....argh I HATE CUPERTINO no joke...there is bad karma there

cops have nothing better to do than pull you over for stupid sh*t. Los Altos is the same.

Default Why Cupertino cops stink:

Cupertino doesn't have their own police force. So they contract with another city's police department for traffic enforcement.

Every year the contract comes up for renewal, so if the cops from the city that have the contract don't write enough tickets (presumably to cover the cost of the contract), they lose out and another city takes it.

So these cops have no attachment to the city and every reason in the world to set up speed traps and write BS tickets.

Default Cupertino Police----County Sheriffs?

Could they be from the Santa Clara County sheriff's office? At least the Cupertino police vehicles say "Santa Clara County" on them...

btw, I live in neighboring Sunnyvale, on the other side of Homestead Road...
