Looks like tahoe had a corvette convention and tons of chp where out. I think I spotted about 30 atleast, pulling people over left and right.
I was being carefull and still almost got a ticket. Lucked out with a warning.

I went to traffic school in february this year for "unsafe turn" . Is there a certain time period in which I may go again for another ticket? Somebody said one can only go once a year... is this accurate according to Ca Law? TIA

Yeah, it's 18 months, but you can always ask for assignment to traffic school when you fight the ticket by mail - you do request a trial by written declaration, right?
Anyway - the judge can assign traffic school even if you just attended last week.

Only the first ticket will be off your "public" DMV record that your insurance companies get.
The second ticket that you also went to traffic school for WILL appear on your "public" DMV record.
The only advantage to taking it twice in 18 months is that the second time you take it, it also eliminates the point on your license you would've gotten, but the ticket still remains on your public record. If your insurance decides to penalize you based on your public record, they can. You just won't have a point on your license, which is kinda like a countdown to when your license will be suspended.
This is all according to the traffic shcool instructor... I just took traffic school in March '03 and May '04, so I'm in your category. I will have no points on my license, but my insurance will be able to see my second ticket on my record.

I took traffic school the first time for a ticket I got in Santa Clara County.
Then I tried to get traffic school a 2nd time for a ticket I got in Merced County. They crosschecked and found out I had gone to traffic school within the last 18 months.
Therefore, I asked the judge if I could take traffic school and they assigned me to 12 hour traffic school.
