service (5000m). Where do you recommend I go? If it matters, the car is bone stock.

Here's my breakdown:
East Bay - Diablo Audi (Concord) [this is where I go]
Marin County - Sonnen (San Rafael?)
Peninsula - Rector (Burlingame)
South Bay - Anderson-Behl (San Jose?)
Do a search and you'll see that none of these places are perfect, but they seem to be better than the other dealers in the Bay Area for service.

MoBrazen (forum regular) seems to like the service at Royal Motors in the city, but I think he has real good connections with the techs there. I don't know how a regular customer would be treated, but I haven't heard anything particularly bad about them.
If you don't mind driving a bit, then Rector in Burlingame is probably the next closest dealer to you where you can expect better service.

Service @ Royal is good, but you only wanna deal with the Audi service Reps (John Ansaldo or Johnny Liu). They are both cool guys. That is all I will say.
