Default You weren't the only one - on the last lap of the day in C/D group - Cory hit the wall in turn 8 in

his white B6 S4 Avant. They took him to the hospital as a caution but apparently he had the wind knocked out of him and blacked out for 5- 10 seconds. His S4 was damaged pretty bad.

Default Beautiful car. Sorry to see the damage. All I heard was screeching and a lot of white smoke!...

But you pulled out of it OK. We had the same instructor (Mary) and she told me to take it easy after your incident. Doh! Nice meeting you at lunch.

Default Man, that sucks. The 'Esses' were a special treat for me all weekend, too. Cory if you read this...

... I hope you faired OK. Best wishes for your health. It was a pleasure talking to you and am sorry to hear about the Avant.

Default First-timer question about ACNA Events.

I saw the green TT with wall wounds, a black A3, daytona RS4 and this 997. I read about Cory's Avant plus various spins and off track excursions ( I had a fun (not really) spin at the end of turn 8).

Is all of this sort of thing considered normal for a track event?

Default this may sound crazy...but i'm pretty sure you can pull most of that off yourself, or

it's not going to be perfect, but it's going to look a helluva lot better then it does right now.

soak a towel in paint remover and using quick, fluid, directional strokes, wipe off the markings. that will expose the real damage - obviously if you're missing paint you need to visit a bodyshop, otherwise maybe a good detail after is all you need.

well..the plastic pieces obviously need to be replaced.

good to see you in good spirits. pretty car.
