Treadway brought 5 cars alone.

Default Re: First-timer question about ACNA Events.

Infineon can be ruff, especially if you drive over your abilities. I think the damage tally was a bit worse than normal, but not totally unheard of.

Audi Club runs very safety conscious events, so this may be a "bad day" given their good record.

I was driving solo and knew I was pushing it a bit. These events are not inherently dangerous-- you can always back off a tenth or two and reduce your risk of car damage to near zero.

Default Move your post Kevin! :-)

Really loved following your lines thru the "S" portion. I could never get them down, but I was lucky enough to get behind you(damn fast RS4 with those motos) going thru them and I felt the most comfortable with your line. See ya at the next event!

Default Cory was either C6 or C3 - I can't remember - I was in front of him that session

in C16 - the black TT coupe. We had caught up to the back of the group by that time, as the rest of the field had already exited under the checkered flag which I saw when I finished the lap he crashed on.

Default Glad it was as minor as it was... I was the RS4 in front of you and saw it my mirror...

Your attitude towards it all is great! ...and I've had cars into walls, dirt, other cars in racing situations... as sad as it is, its great learning and if your hanging it out there, it will happen. Randy Pobst has said many times "If you take your car racing, be prepared to throw it away." Although the club isn't a "racing club", these cars with 400+HP can go race speeds... and I suspect that I'm not the only one out there that enjoys passing more than being passed.

I look forward to running with you more! Good times!

Default No idea. I was in the paddock putting my helmet on when I noticed a bit of wall rash on the A3.

I was behind the RS4 waiting for traffic near the garage area when I saw the right rear quarter panel a bit smushed and showing Infineon white along the side.

I know I'm very fortunate my spin was in the wide open flats. A solid learning experience to be sure.
