Default IRL @ Sears Point = Awsome!

The sound of those cars. Watching them through the esses without a hint of body roll.
Superb race indeed.
(and hopefully you exited back over the hill behind T7. We got back in the city 45 mins later)

Kidding? T7 & the Chicane below the Esses were quite exciting.

Default Dude... you were right above me..

but I barely sat there... I went up to the exit of turn two, and then inside the track, over the bridge by the Carrosel, and inside turn 2...

Good times!

There was also a Silver S4 parked inside by the concessions...

Default i was only there for maybe 10 laps...kept nodding off

walked around all day, mostly between t3 and 3a. then got extremely bored around 40laps, that's when i decided to partake in other activities. the redbull tent, porsche group and food grove is always fun.

Default funny.

friend was wondering why they never opened a dining area or at least a cafe there. i wanted to picnic at v sattui but got there way too late. ended up at some joint called 'vinedetta'

i always stop at mondavi just to grab their la familia muscato, unfortunatly i found out they axed the line this year. so we're just stuck with the normal run of the mill muscato d'oro

Default CART, ALMS > IRL

I'm sorry to say...IMHO of course. =)

Glad you had a fun time. Danica had another disappointing result, I heard. She's all hype.

Default Danica got punted into Castronevis by the pole sitting rookie after she stayed out........

instead of pitting.

And as racing goes I prefer motorcycles as a spectator. But these cars were LOUD, Fast, and FREE. The new track config grew on me too.

I'll trade my sunburn if anybody wants it. 8-)

Default caught some of it on TV...does anyobody know why oh why they ran that configuration!?!??!

using the motobike T9 bypass and the 'premature' T11 hairpin...thereby de-emphasizing the esses and T10-T11 section. The latter, in other races I've seen there, usually being a key passing opportunity.

Was IRL afraid to let their boys let it all hang out??
