Default Emigrant Wilderness. Ansel Adams Wilderness. i know Ansel Adams allows dogs. the forest service

land/wilderness areas are more lenient than the national parks.

Yosemite's dog policy sucks. i think only in the Valley on paved trails and i don't think they are allowed in the campsites. they do have a kennel in the valley.

Default Ice house Res. Just past Placerville up HWY 50. Its nice, about 6 or 7 lakes>>>

They allow dogs, theres some sweet sites right on the water, theres litterally dozens of different camp sites and they are almost always not booked full

Default Samuel P Taylor in Marin, Angel Island, and there is a pretty cool free walk-in

Just past the GG Bridge and I believe at the first or second turn-out on the road to the Marin Headlands. You walk down the road and camp overlooking the Golden Gate. It's small, it's first come first served I believe but a campground like this so close to a major city? It lies just west of the Marin anchorage side. Angel Island is great but is usually booked well in advance. There's Memorial Park in San Mateo County, I believe.

Default do not bring a dag into yosmite unless you want to be fined.

i learned the hard way last year.

they're allowed as long as they're chained at camp.

leashed and off camp = fine
off camp and off leash = misdemeanor
