Yup, that's the way I go to Mammoth in the winter...
Bring a V1 and lots of tunes as there are some long straights to drive through. Enjoy your time at the biggest ski resort in California. They've got some good bars there too!

It's been awesome. The 8.5 hours last night thru multiple snow storms wasn't fun, but today made it
worth it.
getting ready now for the evening. The snow here was fantastic, and the jeep with the all-terrain/snow tires was unstoppable last night.
