Oh snap, that's cold (the pic, and not the food, which was apparently pretty spicy)

Default Turning on the wayback machine to 1978.......

my second car - a 1972 Ford Pinto! In lime green no less! LOL This came after a 1969 Mustang Mach 1 which was heavily modified. In fact - the pinto sported a weber carb and k&n filter, euro header and exhaust with turbo muffler, Suspension Techniques lowering springs, shocks and sway bars, appliance wheels, conti tires, cibie Z beam halogen headlamps, a custom cassette stereo with speakers and amp and a Mark Donohue steering wheel.

My 1st car was a '78 Mustang II, the cousin of the Pinto (w/ the Pinto 2.3L 4cyl engine)... in faded **** yellow. Of course, it was '87 by the time I got it. So it was out of style already!

Default During HS, I had a 69 Mach 1, my cousing a 70 Mach 1, my best friend a 70 Trans Am HO and

my other cousin had a 69 Chevelle SS with a fully built LS6. It was all downhill after that. I simply couldn't afford to keep the Mach 1 - insurance and gas were just killing me at 16 - even though I had a decent job. After the Pinto - I got a 69 Type II bus, then a 72 Datsun 510 before moving strictly to VW's and Audi's. I was working at Steven Creek Porsche Audi at the time when my Pinto go totalled - my GF was actually coming to pick me up from work!
