i'm having a problem with my passenger front door lock.

it seems it does not want to lock anymore. it will not lock if the car is in motion with the auto lock mod, it will not lock if i push the lock button down from the driver's seat, and it won't lock if i try to lock the door with the remote or by having the key in the door.

if i manually push the lock down, the door will lock. and if i unlock the doors the passenger front door will unlock.


i have an extended warranty and it has under the coverage enhanced electrical... "power door lock actuator and switch" and under interior and exterior appointments it says " door locks"

anyone know why the passenger front won't lock anymore? and do you think my problems would be one of the coverage items i have above? thanks in advance.

Had the same problem in my old Audi 90. Dealer replaced the vacuum actuator for the door lock.
