Recommended shop for tire shave/insatll in East Bay Area?
One of my tires recently got "killed" by a rock puncture in the sidewall. I bought a new one (Conti ExtremeContact 235/40/18) which has 10/32" tread. One of my remaining 3 tires has 6/32" tread and local installer will not install it due to 4/32" tread difference between new tire and lowest tread depth of remaining tires.
Seems like a good option is to shave the new tire.
Any shop recommendations or other input would be appreciated.
