Default Fantastic fireworks Photos! I was there last night watching the whole thing!

You really captured the beauty of the evening. You gotta share your camera and aperature info.

Default thanks

Camera is a Nikon D70 with a 24-120 f/3.5-5.6 VR lens. i think the VR saved my butt last night with how windy it was.

shots are all around f/9 6sec. i kept changing the settings...so some are f/11 8 sec, and some are f/6.3 4sec.

i used a tripod and brought my IR remote, so once the camera was aimed, i didn't have to touch it to trigger it. mirror lockup would have been nice too...but my camera doesnt do that.

Default indeed. but treasure island is a crappy place to shoot fireworks from no matter what equipment

as i found out last night. it's right downwind from where they launch the fireworks, so the smoke cloud was right between me and the show.

Looking good. I like how SF does the multiple firework shows.
