Okay I was prolly doing a tad faster than that. What sux is that not only did i JUST complete my on-line traffic school on Friday for my last ticket, but because I got just past the san mateo county line, CHP got me in Santa Clara, the same county I got my last ticket in.
That means that after all these years of having an excellent driving record, I finaly have a blemish of 1 point!
I'm driving slow in Santa Clara County for the next 18 months. =/

Recommend gototrafficschool.com for traffic school. Fast, easy, cheap, responsive, very organized. I think it cost $21. All told, it took about two hours, though you could probably do it in less.

Or maybe I've just been lucky. However, they can only radar in certain places, and it's not to0 hard to recognize them. The plane can be spotted too, though all the times I've seen it, it's been a helicopter.
They usually seem to nab people with pacing, which is easy to avoid if you just stare in your rear view.
Sorry to hear about your ticket, any way to dispute? 75 seems like it should be easy to beat with written declaration, since that's probably within the average surveyed speeds.

3 years, not 18 months. If you didn't get a ticket with 18 months of taking traffic school you are fine, and can attend traffic school again. If you get one you are screwed for 3 years.
May as well fight it, you've got nothing to lose.

It's 12 hours instead of the normal 8.
Here's what I suggest:
Go to your arraignment rather than pleading guilty (if that's what you were planning). The judge may ask you if you want to go to the Level 2 Traffic School. If s/he does, take it. The last time I got a ticket, the judge was lowering EVERYONE's bail amount to $101 and was really being VERY lenient with everyone. Your mileage may vary, but I would highly suggest you try this avenue.
