It wasn't clear if Lisa-Marie is In/Out of Warranty

If still in warranty then the question makes a lot of sense.

I bought an extended warranty

I bought that from Carlsen but it's not an Audi warranty. Just one of those ones you get after 4 years. It's bumper to bumper though. And I don't think it keeps me from going to other shops. Not sure though.

I bought my car from Diablo Audi, from Ernst Gosch (awesome dude!) but that's WAY to far to go for service.

That does not apply to aftermarket warranties. The only proviso is...

that the car is service according to the manufacturers recommendations.

Yes - that has JUST NOW been made clear. And that is NOT the ONLY proviso

Any service must typically be done by ASE qualified techs. And Performance mods can still void some a/m warranties stfa.

Uh, no. Moss-Magnuson sez that's not the case

You can take it to any garage that is authorized and does the correct procedure. That's the law.

If you modify the car in certain ways, though, you could void the warranty...
