I almost got caught coming down the incline of the SM bridge. Moto cop was sitting at the bottom of the bridge taking his pick. Are those new units they look through laser or radar? What detector do I need?

Default Sounds like laser

Laser is one shot and you're toast. I think a laser jammer is the only device you can use to prevent the ill effects of having a laser device used against you.

Try the Lidatek<ul><li><a href="http://www.lidatek.com/">lidatek.com</a></li></ul>

Default How do you know you've been hit? Tickets?

I've had a similar thing happen, but never been pursued (knock on wood). Not too sure why, whether he just was incompetent or lazy or what.

Default Very illegal

Its not clear to me what the penalty is. Probably a stiff fine. I've read in a few places that its a misdemeanor. An article in the Contra Costa Times said that its a felony, but I can't back that up. Word is that it also violates a FCC regulation.

Default 2nd - a friend of mine had to pay a big fine (> $1000). 11-99 member.

Uninstalled it afterwards.

It's much better and cheaper to have self-control.<ul><li><a href="http://www.insurance.com/Article.aspx/California_Auto_Insurance_Radar_Detector_Law__Lega lities/artid/348">Read and learn.</a></li></ul>
