Update on previous thread about parking ticket despite having a parking decal...
Well, just got a call from the Mrs. who is at home, got the mail and told me the bad news...that I lost the appeal process (after waiting several months) in fighting a parking ticket even though I paid for a parking decal. See link for rest of story.
I already paid the fine when I submitted the appeal (2nd time I contested the ticket and lost). I'm definitely not renewing my parking permit for the year. Just gotta leave the house about 30-45 min earlier every morning to find FREE parking or just drive to BART directly.
Just a quick update since I mentioned I would let everyone know the end result.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/norcal/msgs/67201.phtml">Vallejo PD Sucks!</a></li></ul>

I emailed them twice, got no reply. I guess they're not interested.
I also emailed Congressman George Miller and got no reply. I guess everyone has more important things to do.

Actually, I blame the PD for the BS ticket as well as the city for siding w/ them...
the outcome didn't surprise me though. In gaining the $25 fine, the city lost $120 annual revenue from me for many years that I planned on renewing the decal.

Tell me about it. I guess valid proof w/ pics isn't enough vs. a BS ticket...
Losing the appeal the second time wasn't surprising though, I almost expected it. Time to leave early and get free parking again like I did before. I guess collecting a bogus $25 fine is more important and the city earning $120 annually in parking permit fees. Go figure.
