Default **BIENER AUDI CAUTION** LONG

I would like to warn about the dealer that I purchased the car from Biener Audi in Great Neck NY. I let AoA know when I first purchased my car this past December that I had doubt that the 300 point inspection had been done. When i picked up my car on a Friday night my cruise control did not work. It was after 6 PM and no one was left at the dealer. I called my salse person back the next day and made him aware of that and some other items that were not working. I brought the car back two weeks later to have these items fixed. I had a 17 point punch list of items that needed to be addressed with the car. I left the car with them on a Monday morning and picked it up six days later on a Saturday evening. They were still doing the paper work on the car and said that they would mial it to me. Two weeks later it shows up in the mail. Six pages addressing 13 of 17 items and performing two recall items that shoud have been done at the 300 point inspection. Two of the items that were not addressed above had to do with the sales team. The other two items that were not addressed was the heated streering whell and heated mirrors. They said that they were not sure if this car did not come with the heated steering wheel and mirrors. One month later I go Back for the cruise control, headlight washer that overdosed on viagra and to have the mirrors and steering wheel addressed again. One mile before getting there a putride burning smell starts to fill the car, turns out to be CAMSHAFT ADJUSTER SEALS. I get the car back 8 hours later and I am told that my car did not come with heated steering whell and mirrors. I do some check around at various web sites and I am told by other Audi owners that I should have them. Two weeks later I am driving around CT and I stop at Fairfield Audi, in Fairfield CT during my lunch hour. I get greeted by a service writter and go over some things with him. They gave me a ride back to work in their courtesy van. I picked the car up five hours later. Not only did they fix the heated steering wheel that Biener said I did not have, they replaced the driver's side rear veiw heated mirro that Biener also said I did not have. Fairfield Audi also found other things that were not working and repaired them as well. I told AoA it seems like Biener just wanted to get rid of the car and not fix these items before delivery.

Default Similar story ...

I test drove an S4 at Beiner which I was thinking of purchasing if everything went fine. So many things wrong with it: the CEL was on; when I shifted from 1st to 2nd the rpm's would drop to 0; the brakes were very rusted; and also some other minor things too.
I've been going to Anchor but that might change after reading paulroad's story. I'm going to give Legend a try on my next visit.

Default Well totally opposite for me.My ride came from New Country in Ct. and they made up every excuse not

to fix my (certified) car after picking it up with a series of problems. No brakes bad rotors dirty interior, bad heater control switch and more.I went to Biener and met Andy,It cost me $ 50 to get everything fixed. So I`m sorry you had that bad expirience with them and I hope everything is working okay

Default Yes avoid Biener. I brought my car in for service at the end of January and not only did they......

refuse to fix two fault codes in my S4 (not related to my aftermarket parts), they left some deep scratches on my roof from their complimentary car wash.

Spoke to the service department manager and the service advisor who essentially brushed me off and gave me the number of a body shop they deal with.

Please avoid them.

I posted earlier about this, but can't seem to find it using the search tool.
