Default 18's or 19's on a C6 A6

I just picked up a 2006 A6 with stock 17's. I have a set of 18x8 Oettinger RE wheels that I might swap onto the car, but I'm considering selling them for 19's.

Fellow NJ-ers, if you've got a C6 A6 and you're running aftermarket wheels, I'd like your opinion on whether 18's or 19's would be the way to go considering the wonderful roads we're subjected to.

Default You know your answers already...

-19"s will look nicer 'cause they are larger.

-Your tire profile will drop in size.

-Your ride will get harsher.

-You're at greater risk for bubbling a tire/bending a rim.

Default "considering the wonderful roads we're subjected to". you have to ask?

this is why I won't run 18's on my allroad. Trash the wheels and the tires. Just not worth it.
