Default so basically... anything goes in NY then... the law is set on beach sands : )

They can probably give you at ticket for having you car soo clean and shiny.... "Sir, Im gonn have to give you ticket for excessive shine on your paint. The shine is blinding me even through my dark sunglasses".

: )

TJ: Here's a question...can someone with CT plates be ticketed in NY for tint violation?

Yes, it has happened to me in DC. The things they expect someone to do for the law. Yawn.

Default The judge can charge you whatever he wants to in court.

I fought one and it ended up bitting me in the ***, I ended up paying $120 for the tint. That was also in conjunction to to another ticket I had to go to court for. I would just suck it up and pay the fine without going to court.

Default Unless they know the CT law, then no, I don't think so.

They can (and will) try but I beleive you're car has to abide by the laws of the state it's registered in, not the state you are actually in. Take the front plate law for example... some states only issue 1 plate, where as others require two plates. If you happen to be driving through a state that requires two plates does it make much sense they can ticket you for only having one?
