Default Any drivers in CT been nabbed going over 85mph??

Did you get cited for reckless driving? What sort of fine and suspension did you get? I'm curious because I've got a lead foot it's really hard not to drive 85-100 on open highway in my new A4 (left lane of course). I usually take I-91 to and from work in Hartford; rarely ever see state troopers.

I have an old WHISTLER detector, but it doesn't work all the time; any recommendations on what to buy to replace it?

No, but I'd like to learn more about radar detectors. I bought a Solo cordless S2 recently while driving home from Boston (and doing 80 all the way), but I am clueless how to perfect its use. X band would go crazzy every few miles, but it seems like X-Band is useless now. K-Band warnings are all though deep Brooklyn, so I know they are false too. And I hear laser detection is a joke.. by the time you have been detected they got you.

How do I determine what reality really is?

Default My secretary's husband did...

and he got the fine reduced by half and no suspension by going to court. You should always go to court anyway.

At 85MPH you are automatically getting a reckless driving ticket.

A V1 is required equipment! Hardwired with remote display helps too. Not too much use for laser protection here in CT, but it does work and it only takes once to pay for itself.

I see the CT State Revenue Agents (just who are they protecting and serving???) almost every day on 91N, especially by exit 16.
